ROUND CABLE ASSEMBLE PROCEDURE
1. Cut cable and slide S.R. onto cable, trim back cable
jacket to expose approx. 1.70" (41mm) of shielded conductor.
2. Cut off alumium foil and peel by folding back shielding
over cable jacket to expose conductors. Slip the drain wire or braid shielding
on metal shell untwist individual conductor cut off and reserve around
0.54" (13.8mm) for proper termination.
3. Push wires under the plug contacts, and push metal
shell on fixed position. Then insert assembly into termination hand tool
or crimping machine with appropriate die set and terminate.
4. Cut off residue shielding and slide S.R. over plug
and snap into place.
PATCH CABLE ASSEMBLE PROCEDURE
1. Strip the cable jacket to expose approx. 1.70"
(41mm) of unshielded conductor.
2. Cut of alumium foil, peel and fold back shielding over
cable jacket throug metallic strain relief hook to expose conductors. Untwist
individual conductor to fit into insert bar. Cut off and reserve around
0.63" (16mm) for proper termination.
3. Push the insert bar into housing and the wires under
the plug contacts, use crimping hand tool to press the plug contact blade
and drain wire or braid shielding under metallic strain relief hook at
one time assembly with appropriate die set and terminate.
4. Cut off residue shielding to be finished semi-final
assembly procedure, then you can use color cap over plug to snap into place,
or put it into mold or infecting machine for molding plastic cap.
